API - Rajasthan

Association of Physicians of India (Rajasthan Chapter) i.e. RAJAPI is the professional body of consultant physicians from all over the Rajasthan. National body of API was formed in year 1944 while in year 1983 Rajasthan State Chapter was formed. After holding two conferences at Jaipur & Ajmer, it remained dormant for few years. It was revived again in year 1991 during the North zone CME held at Kota. Since then it has not looked back. Presently it is having more than 800 life members and 19 active city branches. It is giving a good platform to all the physicians of Rajasthan as well as students M.D. (General Medicine) in medical colleges of Rajasthan to interact with each other share their knowledge and experience, as well as learn from eminent physicians and subject experts from all over the country during it’s annual conferences. It also gives opportunity to member physicians and students of M.D. (General Medicine) studying in various medical colleges of Rajasthan to participate and win in various award competitions held regularly. Dr. S. K. Goyal Lifetime Achievement Award is also given to eminent physician of the country who has graduated or obtained postgraduate degree from Rajasthan. Dr. H. C. Saxena Memorial Oration, S. N. Memorial Oration and RAJAPI Oration is also awarded to eligible physicians of Rajasthan and country. Its activities are always admired nationally and internationally.
